BENEFITS IN MOVING SLOW

In an infamous YouTube video from 2004, the unidentified motorbike rider known as “Ghost Rider” tore around Paris on the périphérique in just nine minutes, averaging 211 km/h.

Since then, the speed limit has been lowered to 50 km/h. Noise has decreased by roughly 2 dB(A), while NO₂ levels have dropped by around 6%.

Today, a full lap takes roughly 45 minutes.
